China Southern Airlines has entered 2013 with a firm commitment to the Western Australian market.
China Southern Regional General Manager Henry He said Australia was a key part of its new Canton Route to the world and Perth had a major role to play in that strategy.
“For that reason we are delighted to offer our travel agent friends in Western Australia an immediate 5 per cent bonus commission for all China Southern bookings from Perth,” Mr He said.
“This is our commitment to WA passengers who want to fly with China Southern to London, Europe and any of the almost 200 destinations we service via our main hub of Guangzhou in Southern China.”
Mr He said the bonus offer would apply to new bookings made from January 8 to April 8, 2013, for travel from February 1 to April 30, 2013.
“This 5 per cent bonus offer on top of our current commission of 5 per cent amounts to a double happiness for WA travel agents and comes as we prepare for Chinese New Year in February and our inaugural sponsorship of the exciting Sculpture by the Sea spectacle at Cottesloe during March,” he added.
“We know that many Australians use this time of the year to plan their overseas travel for the coming year and we are delighted to be able to provide an added incentive for our travel agent friends at this very important time.”
China Southern Airlines offers the only direct flights from Western Australia to mainland China, with thrice weekly services from Perth to Guangzhou.
