In BRIEF –
Garuda Indonesia is recommencing the GA726/729 services from the 28th of June. These flights were suspended due to aircraft scheduling for Garuda’s domestic market. With this new service, Garuda offers full-service three times a day to Denpasar Bali and Jakarta, Indonesia and is a bonus for those travellers looking to fly to this exotic destination. Although unconfirmed, Garuda is also releasing return fares of $180 with tax to Denpasar Bali. We will confirm this as soon as we get confirmed reports from our sources.
Also unconfirmed, is the operation of some Airbus A330-300 aircraft onto the DPS-PER market. IT may reiterate the need to re-introduce direct flights from Jakarta to Perth without the need for a stopover in Denpasar. Jetstar is the only carrier to operate direct PER-CGK services three times a week. For the short term though, Boeing 737-800NG aircraft will continue to operate.
