NEW Qantas Group airline, Network Aviation will begin operating Perth – Learmonth services on behalf of Qantas using Fokker 100 aircraft. These services will operate thrice-weekly and will improve its flexibility in the WA intrastate market.

“This gives us even more flexibility with our operation in Western Australia to deploy aircraft from our regular passenger routes to our charter and fly-in, fly-out business, and vice-versa,’’ said Qantas Domestic chief executive Lyell Strambi.
Qantas now estimates it currently holds about 30% of the WA regional market. The airline was acquired by Qantas in 2010 but has not received regulatory approval up to now.
