EMIRATES will launch the first regular service of the super-jumbo, the Airbus A380 from 01 May next year. The gulf-carrier has placed the aircraft on the EK420/421 service.

“It’s extremely important for Perth as this is our flagship product and it has long been a strategically important aircraft for us,” said Mr Gurney, Emirates Vice-President for the Australia and New Zealand region.
“We are also building a new lounge at Perth Airport which will be more than 50 per cent bigger than the existing facility.”, he added.
The Emirates A380 features 398 economy class seats, 76 pod-like business class seats and 14 first class seats including features such as a in-flight bar and showers.
Currently, the airline services Perth three times a day with a mix of Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 777-200LR aircraft. The airline will remain at 3-daily for now. 17 DEC 14: The service is now available for booking onboard the super jumbo.
