Scoot has confirmed via AirlineRoute, that it will launch the Boeing 787-9 product on the Singapore – Perth route on 05FEB15. This is a few days after its planned delivery from Seattle.
The airline is offering $78.70 fares one-way from Perth to Singapore.
UPDATE: 14 JAN 15,
Scoot will delay the introduction of its Boeing 787-9 aircraft on the Singapore – Perth route yet again as the airline delays the delivery of its first aircraft due to issues with the seat provider. Scoot now expect the plane to enter service as TZ008/007 in “early February”.
Scoot will also increase frequency to Perth soon after the introduction of the new state-of-the-art aircraft. Scoot has been contacted for comment regarding this. A daily service is promised.

In this week’s schedule update, Scoot once again delays planned Boeing 787-9 aircraft inaugural. Latest schedule adjustment sees the Dreamliner is entering service from 01FEB15, instead of planned 16JAN15. This is the second postponement of planned inaugural.

LOW-COST budget offshoot of Singapore Airlines, Scoot is planning to launch its brand-new, flagship B787-9s on the Singapore – Perth route from 29 March 2015 according to a statement from AirlineRoute.
In Amadeus timetable listing, Scoot has outlined planned Boeing 787-9 operations for Summer 2015 season. Planned Boeing 787-9 service as follow

Note although Boeing 787-9 schedule is listed from late-March 2015, it is possible that these launch date may move forward to as early as December 2014.
Rumours suggest the service could be upgraded as early as December this year as Scoot will receive the first of these aircraft that month.
Scoot currently operates 5-weekly on the Singapore – Perth route with Boeing 777-200ER aircraft leased from parent company, Singapore Airlines. The airline launched services on the 12 of December, their third Australian destination after Sydney and the Gold Coast.
Scoot will be the 3rd carrier to launch 787 services to Perth with Thai Airways to launch from 21SEP14 from Bangkok with a Boeing 787-8 and Air New Zealand from Auckland with a B787-9 from as early as next week.
