PERTH Airport’s latest development, the Terminal 1 Pier will be ready by late-November as final touches are added to the $200 million project.
This comes after a string of delays to the opening of the new terminal, which will be home to Virgin Australia and provide streamlined connections between domestic and international services of the airline and its interline partners.

Perth Airport says that,
Passengers will enter the pier via a 50 metre link serviced by dual travelators. This leads to the spacious departures area with expansive views across the airfield. The pier measures 200 metres in length, and for passengers requiring assistance, buggies operated by airport staff will be available to take you to your departures gate.
The retail, food and beverage hub is conveniently located in the centre of the Pier, and will offer passengers an extensive range of dining and retail options in a comfortable environment.
The new Domestic Pier includes innovative features to reduce energy consumption, particularly the use of natural light and a facade providing shade during summer months.
